The Rain
When I met her – unhappy was the rain
I beckoned her but angry was the rain.
Like the mood of my Love, rain is moody
She caressed my cheek – cheeky was the rain.
She had cried alone on the roof perhaps
Drops on my dry lips salty was the rain.
Silence was sitting on the windowsill
To my loneliness friendly was the rain.
The wind started singing a soft sweet tune
She walked drunkenly sleepy was the rain.
Neither thunder nor lightning nor rainbow
Abandoned like me lonely was the rain.
Without you
Days are lifeless without you
Nights are sleepless without you
Morning lies like a patient
Evening’s breathless without you
The room is angry with me
Bed makes a face without you
Gardens don’t invite me now
Paths are walkless without you
Drinks don’t give joy anymore
They are tasteless without you
Slowly is burning my heart
Mind is thoughtless without you
There’re lots of people around me
They’re all faceless without you
I don’t know how I’m alive
Life’s a lost case without you
