Phone call
The room was full
with biting loneliness
and so was I.
A cemetery-silence prevailed
before you called.
The ringing shattered the silence,
Tore open the loneliness.
My breathing started
and so did my heart-beats
just for some moments
and then I watched
your voice moving away saying,
‘Goodbye!’
The room is now swallowed by
the same biting loneliness again
and so am I.
